Core EA Method of Chart Interpretation & Counseling Skills - Basics

In this 5 week practical application study group, we will build a solid foundation of Evolutionary Astrology (EA) counseling skills, intended to provide validation for people’s lived experience, understanding “why” and encouraging evolution through the healing journey of each unique soul. This is for people who want to understand their own evolutionary journey and birth chart by integrating Evolutionary Astrology into their life. Folks who want to provide Evolutionary Astrology counseling with others, whether casually for friends and family or professionally, will gain the basic skills to do that. We will take a closer look at Pluto, the Moon’s Nodes & their Planetary Rulers to learn their archetypal meanings, as well as how to ask questions and listen for this information in a reading. We will synthesize these core parts of the birth chart in an interactive way, by co-creating safe space and practicing mini-readings for ourselves and optionally for others. By using this Core EA technique as the foundation for reading the soul’s evolutionary journey, we are on our way to being what Jeffrey Wolf Green taught; astrological detectives inquiring and finding out the “why” behind each symbol in the birth chart. This is a practical approach to learning the science of Evolutionary Astrology: observation of real life and correlation to the birth chart. This is an interactive approach to learning core EA counseling skills for reading the soul.

Outline:

Week 1: Co-Creating Safe Space For Soul

We will learn:

  • How to create safe space in both professional and more casual readings for family or friends

  • How to meet the person where they’re at: brief overview of evolutionary stages for chart interpretation

  • The importance of observation of real life and correlation to the symbols and cycles in the birth chart

  • The role of the Evolutionary Astrologer, to yourself or others

  • Brief overview of Pluto’s function as the bottom line in Evolutionary Astrology

  • How listen for, validate and counsel ourselves and/or others specifically regarding the Pluto house position & polarity point

We will practice together:

  • Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only the Pluto position and polarity point in the birth chart

Week 2: Planets Square The Moon’s Nodes

We will learn:

  • Brief overview of the importance of planet(s) square the Moon’s Nodes in any birth chart

  • How to listen for, validate and counsel ourselves and/or others when there are planet(s) square the Moon’s Nodes in the birth chart

We will practice together:

  • Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only Planet(s) square the Moon’s Nodes

Week 3: Where We’re Coming From

We will learn:

  • Brief overview of symbolism and dynamic tensions of the Moon’s South Node

  • How to listen for, validate and counsel ourselves and/or others specifically regarding the Moon’s South Node by house, sign and planetary ruler

We will practice together:

  • Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only the Moon’s South Node by mixing the archetypes of the house, sign and planetary ruler

Week 4: Where We’re Evolving Towards

We will learn:

  • The role of evolutionary necessity

  • Brief overview of symbolism and dynamic tensions of the Moon’s North Node

  • How to listen for, validate and counsel ourselves and/or others specifically regarding the Moon’s North Node by house, sign and planetary ruler

We will practice together:

  • Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only the Moon’s North Node by mixing the archetypes of the house, sign and planetary ruler

Week 5: Core EA Method For Chart Interpretation

We will learn:

  • How and why the Core EA Method provides a lens for the rest of the chart to be interpreted

  • The Nature of Evolution; past, present, future

  • How to appropriately provide suggestions for the present dynamic tensions

  • How to listen for, validate and counsel using the Core EA Method when reading for yourself or another person

We will practice with together:

  • Mini-readings for self or with another participant using the Core EA Method for Chart Interpretation, synthesizing the core evolutionary intent of the soul

    This study group is the practical application and integration of Timothy’s Astro School in a supportive group learning environment.

  • We meet live on zoom on the following dates & times:

    TBA. Will be August or September, meeting once per week on a Saturday or Sunday for 5 weeks.

    Because these meetings are highly interactive, you will get the most out of this through live participation! Meetings are recorded for those who miss the live meeting.

    Every meeting will have three main components:

    1. Review Core Evolutionary Astrology (EA) Method of chart interpretation, including Q&A time.

    2. Learn EA counseling skills; specifically how to ask questions, listen and interpret the birth chart via lived experience, in support of a person’s unique evolutionary journey.

    3. Practicing the science of EA by sharing your observations and correlations in your own life and birth chart using the Core EA Method. Optional giving and receiving mini-readings for & with other participants may occur with consent and will be entirely the choice of each individual.

    Stay connected with meaningful discussion in between meetings:

    Study group private chat available to participants on Rasa Lila Healing server on Discord. With integrated astrology software, participants can share their birth charts, transit charts to give and receive mini-readings!

  • The maximum number of participants is 5, in order to maintain the benefits of a small closed group. For a respectful learning environment, we will maintain these core group agreements:

    1. This is a confidential group, what is shared here does not get shared elsewhere.

    2. Each person is the expert in their own life and in the driver’s seat of their own learning and healing journey.

    3. We resist holding ourselves or each other to the standard of perfectionism.

    4. We resist trying to fix others or give unsolicited advice.

    5. We each are responsible for our own actions and reactions.

    Meetings last 3 hours per week for 5 weeks. Plus the time you want to spend integrating the learning on your own or with others in the private Rasa Lila Healing Discord chat.
