These interactive & integrative study groups are intended for learning the science of Evolutionary Astrology, based on the observation of real life and correlation to the cycles in Nature. This is a learning-by-doing practical approach to studying and maintaining a high standard of Evolutionary Astrology.
***These study groups are open to people who are enrolled in Timothy Halloran’s Astro School***
These study groups offer a supportive group environment where you can:
Increase your awareness of your own life and birth chart which has potential for self-healing as a natural by-product
Build a solid foundation of core Evolutionary Astrology basics and counseling skills
Core Evolutionary Astrology Method of Chart Interpretation - Basics
In this 4 week study group, we will build a solid foundation of Evolutionary Astrology, intended to provide validation for people’s lived experience, understanding “why” and encouraging evolution through the healing journey of each unique soul. We will dive into the core method for chart interpretation: Pluto, the Moon’s Nodes & their Planetary Rulers. We will integrate this information in an interactive way, by co-creating safe space and practicing mini-readings for ourselves and optionally for others.
Outline:
Week 1: Co-creating safe space for soul
We will learn:
How to create safe space in both professional and more casual readings for family or friends
How to meet the person where they’re at
The responsibility of the Evolutionary Astrologer, to yourself or others
How listen for and validate the Pluto house position & polarity point when reading for yourself or another person
We will practice together:
Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only the Pluto position and polarity point in the birth chart
Week 2: Where we’re coming from
We will learn:
Overview of Evolutionary Stages for chart interpretation
The importance of observation of real life and correlation to the symbols and cycles in the birth chart
Overview of symbolism and dynamic tensions of the Moon’s South Node
How to listen for and validate the Moon’s South Node by house, sign and planetary ruler when reading for yourself or another person
We will practice together:
Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only the Moon’s South Node by house, sign and planetary ruler
Week 3: Where we’re evolving towards
We will learn:
The role of evolutionary necessity
Overview of symbolism and dynamic tensions of the Moon’s North Node
How to listen for and validate that Moon’s North Node by house, sign and planetary ruler when reading for yourself or another person
We will practice together:
Mini-readings for self or with another participant of only the Moon’s North Node by house, sign and planetary ruler
Week 4: Core EA method for chart interpretation
We will learn:
How and why the Core EA Method provides a lens for the rest of the chart to be interpreted
The Nature of Evolution; past, present, future
How to appropriately provide suggestions for the present dynamic tensions
How to listen for and validate the Core EA Method when reading for yourself or another person
We will practice with together:
Mini-readings for self or with another participant using the Core EA Method for Chart Interpretation

want to know themselves, why their life is the way it is and what their evolutionary journey is about
want to practice mini self-readings and mini readings with others
want to learn the basics of Evolutionary Astrology counseling approaches and apply them to themselves or in readings with others
want to practice the core EA method for chart interpretation, in real time with real people
want to share their birth chart and a bit of their story to the level they feel safe to, for the purpose of learning together
want an interactive learning-by-doing method of studying Evolutionary Astrology

want one-on-one individual Evolutionary Astrology counseling
want one-on-one Evolutionary Astrology mentoring tailored specifically to them

You will get the most out of this through live participation! Meetings are recorded for those who miss the live meeting.
Every meeting will have three components:
1. Facilitator synthesizing teachings in the Astro School and EA counseling skills
2. Q&A with the facilitator based on EA chart interpretation techniques and counseling skills we are currently learning
3. Practicing the science of EA by observation and correlation by:
a) Presenting your observations and correlations in your own life and birth chart
b) Giving and receiving mini readings with another participant in small breakout rooms and as a whole group
*option B) giving and receiving mini-readings with others will be entirely the choice of each individual, no one will be forced to do so.

The maximum number of participants is 15, in order to maintain the benefits of a small closed group. For a respectful learning environment, we will maintain these core group agreements:
1. This is a confidential group, what is shared here does not get shared elsewhere.
2. Each person is the expert in their own life and in the driver’s seat of their own learning and healing journey
3. We resist holding ourselves or each other to the standard of perfectionism
4. We resist trying to fix others or give unsolicited advice
5. We each are responsible for our own actions and reactions

This is an experimental first run of this study group! This means that future study groups will be improved on through the learning curve of our time together.
